For Pistard Oro sprocket range the focus was on reducing all unnecessary friction to maximise the fluidity and smoothness of the components. High-hardness steel, finely CNC-machined to eliminate all possible roughness in the material, together with the innovative WC/C treatment based on tungsten carbide that maximises the characteristics of the machining operations carried out, help to reduce friction between the components without the need for any lubrication, and to achieve maximum resistance to the high mechanical loads to which any individual tooth is subjected when being pushed by the pistard.
