At Brompton HQ – where we design and build every single bike – we have a saying: evolution, not revolution. In this fast-paced world where more is not always better, we like to take a different approach.
So next time you’re running out of the door, imagine a lighter load. Imagine a smoother, faster journey to your destination. That’s what we’re offering here: not something you don’t need, something you don’t want. Instead, P Line takes the classic Brompton design – innovative, compact, portable – which has endured for nearly five decades, and gives you even more.
For five decades, the Brompton folding bike has been an indispensable tool for those who like to do things differently – transforming how people move in and around cities across the globe. Like us, the Tour de France does things its own way. What started as a visionary idea in 1903 is now the biggest race on earth. Billions of viewers follow teams of male and female riders over 30 days of racing – commitment, suffering, and sweet euphoria play out across fan-lined roads and mountains.
We might be from different ends of the cycling spectrum, but we’re united in our belief that bikes have the power to change everyone and anyone’s world.
Racing Alpe d’Huez or pedalling through the city, the sense of joy and possibility is shared. Once you know it, it never leaves you. We celebrate that feeling with limited-edition Brompton P Line x Tour de France bike. For the riders. For the fans.
A limited-edition frame pouch and multi-tool. Perfectly sized to carry a spare tube and a mini snack. Just like the bike, it’s minimalist, practical and brilliantly durable. This compact repair kit includes all essentials for fixing a puncture, neatly packed in a durable, water-resistant nylon pouch with Tour de France logo and details.
The 12-speed Brompton x Tour de France P Line. All the practicality of a Brompton in a lightweight and performance-oriented form.
Hand built in London with a titanium and steel frame and equipped with a gear range comparable to a road bike. More than 1.3kg / 2.9 lbs lighter than the C Line. You can do it all, all day, on the P Line. The design pays homage to the world’s greatest cycling race with the iconic jersey colors, race stats overlaid, and the Brompton logo in the unmistakable yellow. The abstract photographic pattern on the frame tells the story of the Tour. Each limited edition bike has a custom Selle Royal saddle chosen for speed and performance, ergonomic grips for brilliant comfort across climbs and distances, and slicker Schwalbe One tyres. The custom-printed puncture pouch includes a yellow multi-tool for running repairs – and space for a tube and an emergency snack. Expertly engineered for the city and beyond. Available in limited numbers.
