The EVO386 standard is designed foroversized spindles. CeramicSpeed’s kit for Shimano allows you to installShimano or FSA cranks with 24mm thru-axle spindles.

The cups come with CeramicSpeed Bearingsinstalled. Both CeramicSpeed Standard and Coated Bearings are available. Bothutilize super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The latterhas an additional metallic coating on the races to further smooth and hardenthe steel, further increasing life and lowering drag.

The design of overlapping cups extendingthrough the shell for EVO386 reduce the likelihood of creaking and increase thereliability of the system.

The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings featurean average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock bottom brackets. Thattranslates into frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which is the resultof great design, hardened-steel races, and ceramic balls that are 100% smootherand 15% harder than the ceramic competition.

The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings are a stepup as they reduce drag by 50% compared to our Standard Bearings and animprovement in bearing life by 60%.

All Round Grease comes standard in the bearings,but can be replaced for lower drag Race Day Grease, or higher durability LongLife Grease, which adds a bit of drag but stays in when riding through messyconditions.
