🌿 Route Highlights
This segment forms part of the 60 km Tuen Mun to Ma On Shan Major Cycle Track Network, completed in 2020. It is a key east–west link across the New Territories.
Starting from Sheung Shui, the route passes the Sheung Yue River, San Tin wetlands, the scenic banks of the Kam Tin River, and the natural landscape around Nam Sang Wai. Riders can enjoy views of the Long Valley wetlands, a haven of ecological diversity. The path also weaves through historic villages and cultural landmarks such as Tai Fu Tai Mansion and Wen Tianxiang Park, offering a rich blend of nature and heritage.
The terrain features elevation changes and technical turns, making it ideal for intermediate to advanced cyclists who enjoy varied landscapes and longer-distance challenges.

End – Yuen Long:
The Yuen Long Cycling Hub is located behind Yoho Mall (about a 10-minute walk).
It offers a wide range of bikes—road bikes, mountain bikes, kids’ bikes—and supports cross-location rental return (e.g., Sheung Shui, Tai Po), making it highly convenient for riders.
